I wrote this piece to experiment with writing minimalist music in the styles of Steve Reich and Philip Glass. While listening, the music should slowly morph and create a trance-like atmosphere. There shouldn’t be any focus on harmonic or rhythmic material.
This version comes with a 4.0 and 5.0 octave version. Each version can be played on a single marimba. You can also turn this into a quartet with a 4.0 and 5.0 octave marimba, with two players on each. Have fun with it!
