Jared Coller

Percussionist, Educator, Composer

I am a freelance percussionist, educator, and composer based in Northwest Indiana. Music has always been a large part of my life. Both of my parents were musicians and educators, my wife and I met in band, and every path I have taken in life has been influenced by music.

As a musician, I have performed for several area concert bands and orchestras, theatres, and schools. As an educator, I have taught in public schools as a band director, given private lessons to beginning to advanced percussionists, and given masterclasses to several percussion classes.

I offer several “consulting” services. Information about these can be found on my Services page. All of my compositions are available on my Music page. I self publish all of my works, which are only available as a digital download at the moment.

Outside of music, I enjoy spending time with our two cats, Harold and Walden, and dog, Oakley. I enjoy going on hikes and camping, cooking, and bourbon.

I am a proud endorser of Artifact Percussion sticks and mallets.
